How do I download the app?


1. If you're using an iPhone you can search for Coronafree in App store and download it. 2. If you're using an Android you can search for Coronafree in Google Play Store and download it

How do I login?


1. If you have a Swedish social security number, you should always use Bank ID as the login method. 2. If you do not have a Swedish social security number, you can use Google or Apple ID as the login method by clicking on "Other login methods" at the app's login screen.




What information do I need to add in the app?


For Swedish citizens with Bank ID login:

  1. Your passport number (required when traveling abroad)
  2. Your contact information (Email / Telephone number) In the event of a positive test result or a test answer that cannot be interpreted, the doctor needs to be able to get in touch with you.
For foreign nationals with an alternative login method:
  1. Your passport number (required when traveling abroad)
  2. Your date of birth (required for a valid certificate)
  3. Your contact information (Email / Telephone number) In the event of a positive test result or a test result that cannot be interpreted, the doctor needs to be able to get in touch with you.




Can I get my certificate in paper form?


Yes you can get your certificate on paper in two ways:

  1. If you use the Coronafree app to get your certificate digitally, you can send or print the certificate by clicking on the icon in the upper right corner when you open your certificate.
  2. If you are unable to use the Coronafree app, you can get help from your healthcare provider to get your certificate on paper. When taking your test, request to get your certificate on paper from the care provider and they will assist you.




Why can't I see my test result in the app?


There can be several reasons why a certificate is not visible in the app. Below you see some of the common causes:

  1. Your test result has not yet been validated. Depending on where and when you took your sample, it may vary how long it takes before your certificate is issued by a doctor. If you do not see the certificate in the app, it may be because your test result has not yet been validated.
  2. Wrong login method. If you do not see your certificate when you log in, it may be because you used the wrong login method. Always check that you use the same login method every time.




Can I use Coronafree for my child?


Yes you can travel with your child. For children under 13 or minors who do not have the ability to use the Coronafree app, you as a parent / guardian can have your child's certificate linked to your login in the app. When you arrive for your sampling, you inform your healthcare provider that you wish to have your child's certificate linked to you. When the doctor then issues the certificates, you will be able to see your own certificate and your child's certificate in the app when you login to your account.




What is "My User ID"?


Your User ID is a unique code that is created for you and identifies your account. Your healthcare provider may require you to show your User ID when taking your test. You will find your code in the app's menu under "My User ID".




I can't see my childs certificate?


Your child's certificate will be visible on the app's home page where you will find your own certificate. If you do not see the certificate, use your finger and drag the card to the side to navigate to the right and left. * See the screenshot below * If you still can't see your childs certificate, please contact the care provider you took your test at directly.




Can I book my test directly with Coronafree?


No, you can not book a test directly with us. To get your certificate in Coronafree, you need to take your test at a healthcare provider who is connected to Coronafree.




Which phones work with the Coronafree app


1. For iPhone, it is required that you have updated to iOS 13.0 or higher. 2. For Andriod phones, it is required that you have updated to Andriod 5.0 or higher. NOTE! Unfortunately, phones that do not have access to the App Store or the Google Play Store cannot download the app. If you do not have a phone that supports the Coronafree app, you can ask to have your certificate on paper.
